Introduction

I've recently joined an engineering company to help them realize a dream. The dream is a software suite of engineering tools that will drive their business into the future with a considerable competetive advantage. The company has built software before but nothing at the level of enterprise app so are in desperate need of some enterprise application expertise. Because the software they've written in the past has been ad-hoc and without any methodologies they are ripe for an injection of Agile practices. This blog is the real-time story of a company becoming Agile. In it are tales and observations in my attempt to create an Agile software development team and our implementation of a mission critical enterprise application from the ground up.
